Making your own Proverb
Step 1. Read a few proverbs to get a feel for the type of language used, and the advice they bring
Step 2. Make a list of a few problems that many people have, and how they overcome them. You can also make a list of values, and important things in life. (Ex: Love)
Step 3. Add colorful words and use symbolism
Step 4. Write the final proverb
Tips
1. Keep it one to two sentences long
2. Even though you may be writing this proverb about a human, or with a human in mind, you can substitute an animal for a human

- Be the sun that warms the garden.
- Kindness is the garden of friendship
